Q: How much would tax cost each year for a porsche 911 turbo cabriolet?

A: if you have to worry about the mere tax on a porche…

it’s probably out of your budget…don’t get it

Q: How much does a Porsche 911 Turbo cost?
Can you please tell me more about it? How fast can it go? How much would one cost? Are they convertibles?
Basically, please just tell me everything about them.
Thanks

A: New Ones cost $126,000.

The Convertible versions cost around $134,000.

0-60mph in 3.8 seconds. Top Speed is 193mph. Fastest 6 cylinder car in top speed.

They are 2 door, rear engine, All Wheel Drive cars.
They have 2 back seats, but they are very small. Too small for people to fit in.
The trunk is in the front.
The 911 Turbo uses a 6 cylinder engine. A H6 or Boxer engine.
It makes 480HP.
The 911 Turbo comes with a 6 speed manual transmission or a 6 speed tiptronic automatic transmission.(Semi automatic).
They only use premium gas and they are expensive to fix and maintain, but they are reliable cars.
Porsche engines are made to last long in high speeds. They can drive at 190mph for hours without the engine overheating. Their engines also have lots of potential. Tuners get over 1000HP out of that 6 cylinder engine. The 911 Turbo engine is the strogest and best 6 cylinder engine.
Pretty good on gas too for 480HP. 18mpg city and 25mpg highway.

Q: Can a Suburu WRX STI beat a porsche 911 turbo both stock?
Can a Suburu WRX STI beat a porsche 911 turbo both stock

A: i know the sti will get the jump against the older porsche. i raced one about a month ago and had him up till about 90 mph then he started to pull away. not more than a few feet though. it was a twin turbo.

Q: How would the ‘Porsche 911 Turbo’ be on fuel/insurance?
MSRP $ 128,700.00
I’m looking to get it
i can afford it…

A: Fuel:
One of the most fuel efficient supercars and more fuel efficient than many slower, less powerful sports cars.

It gets 18mpg city and 25mpg highway with a 480HP Twin Turbo Flat-6 Engine.
It uses Premium fuel only since it has a powerful turbocharged engine.

If you drive it like the average driver who drives 12,000 miles per year, gas would cost $1320/year if you average 20mpg and if premium gas costs $2.20 per gallon.

$1320 per year for gas is very good, especially on a high performance sports car.

Insurance woud cost much more. Insurance cost depends on where you live, your driving experience, and your age.

It will cost more than $500 per month most probably.

Q: Questions about a Porsche 911 turbo?
What does a Porsche 911 turbo have to offer me that other sports cars don’t. Basically what I’m asking is why should I buy a Porsche.

Does anyone have any tips/insight on buying one used?

And also, is such a car out of the question for a newer driver?

A: TO answer your final question 1st, yes, the Porsche 911 Turbo should be out of a question for a newer driver. It is basically a street legal race car, and you really need to have a lot of skill and driving knowledge to be able to control this car. The benefit a Porsche 911 turbo has over other exotic sports cars in it’s price range is ‘driving feel’. There are many high performance exotic cars that any randoom person with a driver’s license can get in and handle, and probably look pretty good driving it. But the Porsche takes much more skill and concentration. This can be a very good thing or a very bad thing, depending on what you are looking for out of your driving experience. But if you are not planning on taking this car to the track, and do not drive cars on a track, I could suggest some other cars that you would feel more comfortable driving, and could actually drive at a faster speed, safer.
For example, the Audi R8 with either the V-8 or V-10 motor is a great car. It has a great mix of luxury and performance, and is easier than some others to drive.
The newer Lamborghini’s are the same way. They are very fast, very exotic, have an exhuast tune like no other car, but the way it was designed, along with the AWD make it a fairly easy car to drive.
Another car to look into is the Nissan GTR, similar in driving ease as the Lambo and AUdi, it is also probably the best bang for hte buck when it comes to performance cars.

Cars like the Porsche 911’s and the Corvettes and Vipers for example, are more cars for people with a good amount of skill, that like to race and push the car to the limit.

Good Luck.

Q: how much does a lamborghini murcielago LP640 go for? and a porsche 911 turbo?
i just kinda need to know how much these two awesome cars are usually priced at? and if there is a certain place that sells them cheaper thatd be good…
the lamborghini im not wanting to buy but i jus wanna know k? its the porsche i really like

A: Well I don’t know about the lamborghini, but I am a HUGE Porsche fan…

I will tell you that the 2009 911 turbo can easily go up to $120,000.
I guess you could find one on Ebay.
In the long run though the porsche will be cheaper.
They are great cars that are meant to be driven, and are not that expensive to maintain compared to other cars in it’s class. If they are maintained they could last a really long time.

Trust me (if you are really going to buy one of these), go with the Porsche.

Q: I have a 2005 porsche 911 turbo s cab. It occ. makes a sound like blowing on top of an open soda bottle.?
I have a 2005 Porsche 911 turbo s cab. It makes an intermittent sound that seems to come from the right front of the car that sounds like when you blow over the top of an open bottle. I hear it most often when going about 40 mph, and it goes away if I rev the engine, but soon comes back. The dealer says it’s normal for a turbo – something about sucking air through the gas cap area. I don’t believe it, and the sound is very annoying. does anyone have any thoughts?

A: blow off valve—– dumb ass…… if you dont believe it go to another porsche dealer – your warranty is still good on it NO? Research the car better before you buy a status symbol …..

Q: Will lenders (Banks ) finance me 72 months if I get a 2002, or 2003 car? Its a Porsche 911 Turbo Thanks!?
I have a 720 credit score with 5 years of NO late payments and no dings at all on my credit. I’ve herd different stories so thats why I’m asking it on here.

A: Shouldn’t be a problem, I found loans for used cars on-line for a 72 month term at 6.94%. CapitalOne was one of them…

Q: what is the problems of Porsche 911 Turbo 2005 &2006?
actually im thinking to buy Porsche 911 Turbo 2006 and i would like to know the problem of this car and what is the different between 2006 &2007… and is it going to be change in 2008?

A: the current (997) turbo comes with a damned good warrenty, so reliabilty issues shouldnt be a problem. they are also very reliable in general.

the old (996) turbo, built up to 2005, also had very few problems.

Generally the turbos are very reliable because theyve had time to sort out the issues in the platform from the base 911 which comes out earlier.

and no changes are planned for 08 that i know of. The turbo S may be coming out though. A GT2 i think is due in 08 sometime too.

But heres some good advice if you buy a 911 turbo: Join your local Porsche club of america, and do some of the Drivers education events. The 911 turbos are far far faster than you can ever appreciate on the street, and are way more capable than youll ever be able to drive it. These DE events teach you how to really use your car, and find out just how fast they are (which is WAY faster than youll initially think). Not only that, but it could also save your life. People without track experiance just dont have the skills needed for an unintuitive 480 HP car like the turbo.
